David Johnston

David has been with AEM since the company’s infancy and has over 39 years of experience. 

He began his career working with the assembly and testing of control panels, grew to be a field technician responsible for the startup and commission of DDC control system, and then was promoted to project manager for AEM’s premier installations. As VP of Operations, David oversees all of AEM’s installations and account service. David is an expert in understanding temperature control problems and provides straight forward solutions. He is AEE certified as a CEM (certified energy manager) and holds a Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical license.
